Psych Test
I've never taken one of these before. What's it like?

I'm not sure because I haven't taken it yet, but I've heard it's only about 30 minutes long and done on a computer. I'm scheduled to take it next week actually. But honestly if I were you I wouldn't give it much thought right now as you could be 6+ months away from taking it. Unless you're just curious!

I just took it this morning at the Seattle TRACON. There were 567 True/False one sentence phrases. Reminded me very much of the one you do on the AT-SAT. It was taken on a laptop and took me just over an hour. There were a variety of questions but all pretty basic. Some I remember were "Spirits sometimes tell me what to do" "I have a few alcoholic drinks after a hard day" "I avoid crowds whenever I can" "I get impatient with people" "I get easily impatient waiting in long lines" "I hear voices when no one is around me" "I have a fear of spiders" "I sometimes think about killing myself" "I love my Dad" "My eyesight has not changed much over the last two years." Etc Etc. And lots sounded like the same type of question or worded differently. And there were individual ones to ask if you were afraid of snakes, mice, water, fire, heights, etc. So you can breeze through them really quickly and easily. If you know yourself!
