Air Show

Well what a day.We attended the 24th annual Air Rendevous in Springfield,IL on June 24.Started off the day kicking back in the pilots seat of a C-17.

I got to meet a few boys from ATL "The Flying Gators" were there in their Tomcats.Got to see some ole boys jump out of a C-130 Hercules and a crazy chopper pilot circling the field flying BACKWARDS!! But the greatest moment of the day came when we got to watch a P-51 Mustang fly in formation with an F-15E Strike Eagle.Seeing as though ArtPilot forgot to remind me to take my camera I had to wait for the photo to make it to the paper.But here it is and what an awesome sight it was.

I will look for a pic a have of a P-51, F-4, P-37(not real sure), and F-16 in formation. At Barksdale in May '06. It was a really cool looking flight.
