I have done everything in your audio help section and can't receive any audio from this site. I used to be able to hear all the audio feeds and one day just couldn't. I have the latest version of windows media player and all updates current on my computer. I have no firewalls blocking anything nor have I or anyone else made any changes to my computer. I just logged on one day and couldnt hear anything. It just keeps saying ready. I have noticed many other members post the same problem. If theres anything else I can do, please let me know.

I have also lost the ability to hear anything from ATCmonitor. When I start in IE7 I get the "Click to run active x" popup that someone else mentioned. This is on my work computer. It is recieving feed though. It does appear to be receiving feed though, media player appears to be playing. Our IT guys say there is nothing in the network at work that would interfere with this.
My home desktop still plays the feed, even on Firefox. Wonder why it still works? I now assume there is something weird in windows media player (version 11) here. Does anyone have ideas? Yes I tried dumping and reaquiring the license. Why would media player receive the feed, but not produce audible sounds? No, it is not muted. Why am I still gettting the active x popup? Have run multiple spyware detectors and I am clean. If I change feeds (example, center to south tower) the active x thing pops up again. Have fully updated system and media player. Any ideas appreciated. Last edited by trichos : 02-26-2007 at 09:36 AM. |

Got a fix to my problem from another forum. Required a registry change.

I would suggest you contact Microsoft to resolve the problem. ATCMonitor's audio feeds are NOT protected by Digital Rights Management or other security measures that may cause problems. The feeds are wide open for any WMP client to stream. If you are not able to hear the audio, contact Microsoft to resolve. If you dont want to contact MS, you might consider simply complete uninstall of WMP, restart, then reinstallation of WMP.
