Default Fees for airlines at Airports

I read a lot about fees airlines have to pay at airports. Ramps, gate etc. Can somebody explain what they are and how much they cost?

there are many different fees airlines pay at airports. there is a passenger facility fee (PFC) that they charge per passenger, a sept 11 fee that they say is for security, there is a landing fee and a parking fee for parking in a space or overnight. lets see... they also charge for the use of their ticket counters and offices. the office our airline uses is very expensive and its not even that big. Every airport is different as to how much they charge. some airports even offer the airline "no fees" for so many months to get them to come into their airport. BWI is an extremely expensive airport and dulles is less expensive, which is partly why they have more business. hope that helps.

Airport fees are public information, for instance, you can find Atlanta's fees on their website in PDF form.
